Medullation
SGNCO measure medullation using both
traditional projection microscope methods as well as most recently OFDA
technologies. Medullation is the presence of hollow or partially hollow core
in animal Fiber. In medullation state, Fibers have different properties for
bending resistance and they takes up dye in a different manner. While a
degree of medullation is helpful in certain types of carpets, it is
undesirable in other sectors like apparel. There are no regulations for
sampling wool for the measurement of medullation.
Modelling Environmental Behaviour
Modelling the propagation and
transportation of agro-chemicals in soils is a very effective way to predict
their environmental behaviour. Accepted worldwide, modelling helps in

On-Farm Fleece Testing
We undertake on-farm fleece testing that
involves different test methods. Over the years, on farm fleece testing has
become an important tool for the growers that gives flexibility in the
management of flocks and gives an added advantage to split lines of wool
